FEDERICA BELLETTI (She/Her) is an Italian film producer based in New York City and working across narrative and documentary. She’s interested in stories that empower women, explore how inequalities play out in our lives, and look for hope in our darkest moments.
She has six years of experience in development and production, after working at Maven Pictures, Gamechanger Films, and on features including “Tape", "Italian Studies" (Hulu), "Dick Johnson Is Dead" (Netflix), “Triple Frontier” (Netflix). She worked as Assistant to the producers at CounterNarrative Films, the company co-founded by Anna Gerb, Neal Dodson and Academy Awards nominated JC Chandor, and she is currently a producer at Film Manufacturers Inc.
She has produced twelve narrative shorts that played at 150+ festivals worldwide, including "Refuge", featured in The New Yorker Magazine; "Nice Talking To You", a SXSW premiere; and "Ayaan" which was longlisted for an Academy Award® and won 30 accolades worldwide. She recently produced Lucy Teitler’s short Keep It Open, and Misha Calver’s short Pink Flags, starring Sawyer and Raye Spielberg.
Belletti is an alumna of the Giffoni Film Festival, the Tribeca Film Institute, and the BAFTA Newcomers' Program, through which in she received the BAFTA-Yugo Award for her screenplay “Aria” in 2022.
She holds an MFA in Creative Producing from Columbia University ('18), where she was the recipient of the Arthur Krim Memorial Award For Excellence in Producing, and a BA in Communication from IULM University in Milan.
